Homegrown Pygmies is located in Camarillo, California, in the Santa Rosa Valley, which is south of Santa Barbara and northwest of Malibu. With cool ocean breezes in the summer, and mild winters, we are able to breed our goats all year round. We strive to produce pygmies that are structurally correct to the breed standard, have friendly temperaments, and can deliver their kids without human assistance. Our herd currently consists of twelve does, and four bucks. All of our pygmy goats come from excellent lines, including Desert Suns, Whirlwind Farms, Daworth's, Desert Willow, Caliche Corral, Ahsum Pygmies, Falling Star,
Little Eden's, and 2 Mini Pygmies.
We sell both show and pet quality pygmy goats. Our babies are socialized daily from birth, making them friendly and easy to care for. We also put collars on them and train them to walk on a leash, which makes working with them a joy, whether in the showring, or just going for a walk in the neighborhood.
